Ministry of Science and Technology (Vietnam)

The Ministry of Science and Technology is the government body in charge of science and technology. It is responsible for the administrative management of scientific and technological activities, development of technological potential, standards and quality of products and goods (metrology), intellectual property, atomic energy, and nuclear radiation safety. It also provides administrative services related to science and technology for the public. According to the law, the Ministry is also in charge of managing the state-owned enterprises under its jurisdiction.
