About
The European Printing Ink Association (EuPIA) was established in 2003 as a branch of the European Council of the Paint, Printing Ink and Artists' Colours Industry (CEPE). EuPIA represents the interests of European manufacturers of printing inks and related products. Its membership includes around 80 manufacturers that account for over 90% of ink sales in Europe. Its main responsibilities include: providing guidance on the safe manufacturing, use, and handling of printing inks and related products; offering consultation to European and national institutions to help make decisions based on accurate information and reliable scientific evidence; maintaining and developing relationships with other international associations; and providing a voluntary framework for cooperation among member companies and their value chain partners to ensure sustainable business activities, among others.
