The Parliament of Singapore (Malay: Parlimen Singapura) follows the Westminster system and, together with the President of Singapore, constitutes the legislative branch of the government. The Parliament of Singapore is unicameral, comprising elected Members of Parliament (MPs), Non-Constituency MPs (NCMPs), and Nominated MPs (NMPs). Following the 2020 general election, a total of 93 elected MPs and 2 NCMPs were returned, along with 9 NMPs, forming the 14th Parliament. The opening session commenced on August 24.
