The Chamber of Deputies of Brazil (Portuguese: Câmara dos Deputados do Brasil) is the lower house of the National Congress of Brazil. It consists of 513 seats, elected through proportional representation for a four-year term. The current President of the Chamber is Rodrigo Maia, who assumed office in July 2016. On February 1, 2023, local time, the new session of the Brazilian Parliament, comprising 513 deputies and 27 senators, was officially sworn in.
