The Government of Vietnam (Vietnamese: Chính phủ Việt Nam) is the administrative body of the socialist republic of Vietnam. Its members are appointed by the president upon the recommendation of the prime minister and approval by the National assembly. The Vietnamese government is accountable to the National Assembly and to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly during the intervals between its sessions.
