This regulation specifies general provisions and a positive list (including fiber raw materials, raw material additives, auxiliary materials, etc.) for cellulose materials, packaging, and equipment in contact with food. It is applicable to materials, packaging, and equipment made of cellulose or coated with cellulose treated with wax, paraffin, mineral oil, and mineral pigments (coating) that are intended to contact with food or food raw materials. It is also applicable to packaging and equipment composed of the same material layer or different material layers (multilayer), but must comply with the aforementioned provisions.
