Main Content
This standard specifies the classification requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of waterborne multicolor architectural coatings. It is applicable to water-in-water multicolor coatings, where waterborne colored colloidal particles are dispersed in a system composed of waterborne film-forming materials (such as synthetic resin emulsions), pigments, fillers, water, and additives. These coatings, applied by spraying or other methods, can achieve decorative effects resembling granite, marble, wallpaper, etc., and are used in conjunction with primers, intermediate coats, and clear topcoats (optional) for decoration and protection of interior and exterior surfaces of buildings.
