Mercury Control Ordinance (Hong Kong)

This ordinance specifies the prohibitions on chemicals in Part 1 and Part 2, regulated mercury-added products, and regulated manufacturing processes; the issuance, renewal, alteration, revocation, and cancellation of export and import licenses and possession licenses; enforcement; miscellaneous offenses and other matters related to offenses; miscellaneous provisions. It is applicable to activities involving the use, export, and import of mercury products in Hong Kong, specifically including the export, import, storage, and use of mercury, mercury mixtures, and mercury compounds; the export, import, manufacture, and supply of certain mercury-added products; and certain manufacturing processes using mercury or mercury compounds.
