Ozone Layer Protection (Controlled Refrigerants) Regulation (Hong Kong)

This regulation specifies in detail the controlled refrigerants under Section 16 of Chapter 403 of the Hong Kong Ozone Layer Protection Ordinance, including definitions, the authority of the Director to declare a substance as a controlled refrigerant, approval of refrigerant recycling and reclamation machines, prohibition of releasing controlled refrigerants, regulation of the recycling use of controlled refrigerants, and record-keeping. It is applicable to activities related to the recovery and release of controlled refrigerants under the control of ozone-depleting substances in Hong Kong.
