(Japan) Notification regarding customs clearance procedures for chemical substances based on the Chemical Substance Examination and Manufacturing Management Law

This notification establishes regulations for customs clearance procedures for chemical substances in Japan under the Chemical Substance Examination and Manufacturing Management Law (CSCL) and related laws. It designates methoxychlor, declofenac, and UV-328 as specific Class 1 chemical substances and prohibits the import of specific products containing declofenac and UV-328 starting from June 18, 2025.
