(Philippines) Philippine Inventory of Chemicals and Chemical Substances (PICCS)

This document updates the Philippine Inventory of Chemicals and Chemical Substances (PICCS). The number of chemicals listed in the PICCS has increased from 22,277 to 22,438, with 96 new chemicals added in 2022 and 65 in 2023. The PICCS contains the names, Chemical Abstracts Service Registry Numbers (CAS RN), and CAS Index Names or chemical names based on International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) nomenclature for all existing chemical substances stored, imported, exported, used, processed, manufactured, or transported in the Philippines. It applies to activities related to the storage, import, export, use, processing, manufacture, or transportation of chemicals within the Philippines.
