(USA) FDA Revocation of Certain PFAS Food Contact Notifications

This notice specifies that 35 Food Contact Notifications (FCNs) related to perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are no longer effective. These notifications involve PFAS substances that will no longer be allowed in food contact materials, applicable to manufacturers, distributors, and importers of PFAS-containing food contact materials in the USA engaged in production, sale, and import/export activities.
