AFIRM Restricted Substances List (2025)

This document provides the AFIRM Restricted Substances List, including requirements for soluble heavy metals under the Korean KC mark, perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), agricultural pesticides and herbicides, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It is applicable to the AFIRM working group and the AFIRM RSL, which primarily focus on apparel and footwear, though the AFIRM RSL may also apply to accessories, jewelry, sports equipment, wearable devices, and home textiles. Note: The 2025 edition updates the limits for bisphenol and PFAS, updates the section on VOCs, and adds siloxanes.
