This document specifies color codes for conveying safety information, types of safety signs along with their installation and usage requirements, as well as basic identification colors and symbols for industrial pipelines. It applies to the design, production, and placement of safety signs in production/business entities with safety risks or where safety awareness needs to be enhanced, as well as in public areas. This standard does not cover transportation signs used in railway, road, inland waterway, maritime, or air transport systems.
