The draft revision aims to align with the amendments and supplements to Annex XVII of the REACH Regulation and the decisions of the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants. It includes provisions such as prohibiting the use of UV-328, perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS) and its related substances, banning the market placement of perfluorohexanoic acid (PFHxA) and its precursors, and restricting the use of substances that deplete the ozone layer and fluorinated greenhouse gases. This ordinance is applicable to activities involving the production, use, sale, import, and export of specified particularly hazardous substances, preparations, and articles in Switzerland.
