This announcement publishes the latest version of the Catalog of Non-Medical Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalog"). The updated Catalog includes:
231 substances originally listed in the Supplementary Catalog of Controlled Non-Medical Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances;
Three categories of substances: fentanyl-type substances, synthetic cannabinoids, and nitazene-type substances;
91 substances split from the 2013 edition of the Narcotic Drugs Catalog;
74 substances split from the 2013 edition of the Psychotropic Substances Catalog.
In total, the Catalog now contains 396 substances and three categories.
Additionally, revisions and supplements have been made to the Chinese chemical names, English chemical names, CAS numbers, and remarks (including Chinese/English abbreviations or acronyms) for the listed substances. This Catalog is applicable to the regulation of non-medical narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances within China.
