This amendment modifies certain contents of the "Requirements of Concentration Limits for Certain Restricted Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products" (GB/T 26572-2011). Changes include modifications to the scope of application in Chapter 1, normative references, and corresponding sections throughout the document, as well as the restricted substances and restriction requirements in Chapter 4. It applies to the control of restricted substances in electrical and electronic products, including lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), and bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP).

 No. 1 Amendment to Requirements of Concentration Limits for Certain Restricted Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products

This standard specifies the maximum allowable content and conformity determination rules for certain restricted substances in electrical and electronic products. It is applicable to the control of restricted substances such as lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) in electrical and electronic products.

Requirements of concentration limits for certain restricted substances in electrical and electronic products

This document stipulates the limit requirements and marking requirements for hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products, and is applicable to electrical and electronic products produced, sold and imported within the territory of the People's Republic of China.
