Korea - Standards For Classification And Labelling Of Chemical Substances And Material Safety Data Sheets (August 6, 2025 Version)

This Regulation stipulates standards for the classification and labeling of chemical substances and material safety data sheets in Korea, including general provisions, classification and labeling of chemical substances, establishment and production of warning signs, preparation of chemical safety data sheets, approval of alternative data, in addition to seven appendices covering classification of chemical substances, etc., warning sign elements, format and size of warning signs, subheadings and required information for material safety data sheets, purpose classification system, concentration limits for classification of health and environmental hazards, evidence materials for trade secrets and criteria for determining whether replacement is necessary. It applies to activities related to the classification, labeling, and preparation of MSDS for chemical substances in Korea.
