Japan - Public Comment Invitation on the Partial Revision of the Cabinet Order for the Enforcement of the Chemical Substances Control Law (CSCL) (Draft)

This document amends the Order for Enforcement of the Chemical Substances Control Law. It mainly includes the additional designation of substances related to perfluorohexane sulfonic acid as Class I Specified Chemical Substances, the prohibition of import of specific products containing PFHxS-related substances, and the deletion of the exempted use of substituted diphenyl oxide for the manufacturing of synthetic resin raw materials for certain implantable medical devices. It is applicable to activities such as the production, manufacturing, import, and export of chemical substances in Japan.
