The EU List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) is also known as the Candidate List. SVHC originates from the EU REACH Regulation. It is a list of chemical substances with hazardous properties that cause high concern. The list provides substance names, CAS numbers, EC numbers, and reasons for inclusion. Generally, the SVHC list is updated twice a year (usually in June and December). This list is the latest published by ECHA on November 5, 2025, containing a total of 251 substances. It is applicable for searching SVHC substances in the EU, etc.
