This notice releases the Guidelines for Shipping Companies to Implement Safety Production Main Responsibility (Version 1.0). The guidelines stipulate matters related to the implementation of safety production main responsibilities by shipping companies, including improving the safety production responsibility system, deepening the dual prevention mechanism of safety risk control and hidden danger investigation and management, strengthening major safety risk control, enhancing the intrinsic safety level of ships, and improving emergency response and handling capabilities. It is applicable to the activities of shipping companies and their employees in implementing water traffic safety main responsibilities. Note: "Shipping companies" as referred to in the guidelines mean production and operation units engaged in water transportation, underwater construction activities, and other related activities, bearing safety and pollution prevention responsibilities in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
