Notice of the Maritime Safety Administration of the People's Republic of China on the Issuance of the Safety Work Guidelines for Shipping Enterprises on the Carriage of Dangerous Goods (Version 1.0)

This notice issued the Safety Work Guidelines for Shipping Enterprises on the Carriage of Dangerous Goods (Version 1.0). The guidelines specify matters concerning the safety management of the carriage of dangerous goods by shipping enterprises, including general provisions, terms and definitions, allocation of responsibilities, general requirements for the carriage of dangerous goods, operational requirements for the carriage of dangerous goods, shore-based tracking and supervision, handling of special situations, and record retention. It is applicable to enterprises' safety management and the establishment of rules and regulations for dangerous goods during carriage, loading and unloading, on-board transport, emergency response and other stages. Work related to the maritime carriage of solid bulk cargoes that may liquefy or dynamically separate (Group A cargoes) shall be carried out with reference to these guidelines.
