Vietnam—Regarding the Issuance of “Revision 01:2026 to QCVN 01:2017/BCT National Technical Specification—Limit Values for Formaldehyde and Aromatic Amines Derived from Azo Dyes in Textiles” Ministerial Notice on the Issuance of “Amendment 01:2026 to QCVN 02A:2020/BCT National Technical Specification—Mercury Content in Fluorescent Lamps” and “Amendment 01:2026 to QCVN 08:2020/BCT National Technical Specification—Lead Content Limits in Paints”

This document was developed in accordance with the *Law on Standards and Technical Regulations* the “Product Quality Law,” and relevant government decrees, and announces amendments to three national technical specifications (QCVN). The main amendments include: (1) Amendment to QCVN 01:2017/BCT—adjusting the limit requirements for formaldehyde and aromatic amines derived from azo dyes in textiles, and clarifying that the scope of application shall be based on the catalog of medium- and high-risk products issued in Notice No. 33 of 2026 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade; (2) Revision of QCVN 02A:2020/BCT—adjusting the limit requirements for mercury content in fluorescent lamps; (3) Revision of QCVN 08:2020/BCT—adjusting the limit requirements for lead content in paints. These revisions apply to the production, import, and distribution of the aforementioned products within Vietnam.
