On July 21, 2025, the US Environmental Protection Agency sought public comments on new regulations for bilingual pesticide label tracking and updated guidance resources. According to the Pesticide Registration Improvement Act of 2022 (PRIA 5), all end-use pesticide labels must be translated into Spanish by 2030, with high-risk products prioritized for implementation starting December 2025. Originally planned to be tracked via paper-based annual fee forms, this has now been shifted to centralized management through the electronic platform MyPeST.
