Australia’s AIIC updated with new chemical addition

On December 9, 2025, an industrial chemical was added to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (AIIC) in accordance with Section 82 of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019, as five years have passed since the industrial chemical assessment certificate was issued.

Newly Added Chemical:

Chemical Name

1,4-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, polymer with 1,2-ethanediol and .alpha.-hydro-.omega.-hydroxypoly(oxy-1,4-butanediyl)

Specific information requirements
