3 substances were added to the Korea List of Toxic Chemical Substances(CCA)-Aug 15,2023

On August 1, 2023, the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) of Korea issued Announcement No. 2023-41 revising parts of the Notice on Designation of Toxic Substances in accordance with the Chemical Substances Registration and Evaluation Act and the Chemical Substances Control Act.

Main revised content:

The following modifications have been made to the names of chemical substances with unique numbers "97-1-24", "97-1-106", "97-1-205", and "2005-1-547", respectively.

97-1-24: [Dinoseb; 2-sec-Butyl-4,6-dinitrophenol; 88-85-7] or mixture containing 0.3% and above.
97-1-106: [Bronopol; 2-Bromo-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol; 52-51-7] or mixture containing 2.5% and above.
97-1-205: [Ethyl chloride; 75-00-3] or mixture containing 0.3% and above.
2005-1-547: [3,3'-Dichlorobenzidine; 91-94-1] or mixture containing 0.1% and above.
 
After the number "2023-11115", new content from "2023-11116" to "2023-11118" has been added.
2023-1-1116: [Cobalt manganese nickel oxide; 37348-84-8] or mixture containing 0.1% and above.
2023-1-1117: [Silica gel reaction products with chromium oxide (CrO3) and ethoxydiethylaluminum; 932384-12-8] or mixture containing 10% and above.
2023-1-1118: [1-Bromo-2-methylbenzene; 95-46-5] or mixture containing 25% and above.
