Notice on the 2nd Batch (the 12th in total) of Registered New Chemical Substances Added to the IECSC in 2023

On December 18, 2023, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) published the 2nd batch (the 12th in total) of registered new chemical substances added to the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (IECSC) in 2023.

According to the Measures for the Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order No.12) and the Supporting Forms and Filling Instructions for Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order No.51/2020), MEE publishes the list of 25 new chemical substances added to the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (IECSC) (see the following table). These 25 chemicals will be managed as existing chemicals and chemicals within the environmental management for new uses shall prevail.

MEE hereby published these 25 chemicals to the IECSC according to the Measures in just, fair and transparent way. Details of these 25 chemicals are listed in the following table:
