EU Mandates Uniform Notification Format for Hazardous Mixtures in the Market

As the transition period for notifications by the Poison Centre concludes, the EU mandates that from January 1, 2025, all hazardous mixtures sold on the market must be notified in a uniform format according to Annex VIII of the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation. The previous transition period allowed companies to continue selling their hazardous mixtures under non-uniform national standards, but from 2025, such practices will no longer comply with the new CLP regulation requirements.
