5 substances were added to the REACH Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) List-Jan 22,2025

On January 21, 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) officially announced the 33rd batch of six Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs), including five new additions and one update. As of now, the total number of SVHCs (also known as the Candidate List for Authorization) has reached 247. These chemicals may pose risks to human health or the environment. Companies are responsible for managing the risks associated with these chemicals and for providing relevant information on their safe use to customers and consumers.
