Five Industrial Chemicals Added to the AIIC

On May 8, 2025, the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) officially announced that, under Section 82 of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019, five industrial chemicals were added to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (AIIC) as their assessment certificates have reached the five-year mark. This move marks a new phase in the management of these chemicals.
