ECHA is Soliciting Feedback on the Hazard Classification of 11 Substances

On March 16, 2026, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) initiated a public consultation on the proposals for the harmonized classification and labeling (CLH) of several chemical substances. The consultation period for each proposal will last for 60 days. The specific details are shown in the table below.

The purpose of ECHA's CLH process is to ensure the consistency and transparency of hazard information for chemical substances across Europe. The process involves evaluating the hazards of chemical substances, proposing classification and labeling recommendations, soliciting public feedback, and ultimately having the proposals reviewed by ECHA's Risk Assessment Committee (RAC), which will issue an opinion.
