Argentina List of Chemical Precursors Control is administered by the National Chemical Precursor Registry (RENPRE) in accordance with Law No. 26,045 and Decree No. 593/2019, and is enforced by SEDRONAR under the Ministry of Security. The list comprises three control categories (List I, II, and III), covering hundreds of chemicals susceptible to use in illicit drug manufacturing. In March 2026, Argentina further updated the list via Decree No. 128/2026, adding 56 new controlled substances. All manufacturers, importers, exporters, transporters, and distributors must register with RENPRE, submit quarterly reports, and are subject to audit inspections by SEDRONAR.
