Recently, ten departments including the Ministry of Emergency Management issued an announcement to include five hazardous chemicals – 3-chloropropyne, 2-iodoxybenzoic acid, 2-diazoacetoacetic acid p-nitrobenzyl ester, methanesulfonyl azide, and 2-nitro-3-methylbenzoic acid – into the Catalog of Hazardous Chemicals (2015 Edition). Subsequently, on April 28, 2026, the *Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Emergency Management on Conscientiously Ensuring the Safety Supervision of Five Hazardous Chemicals including 3-chloropropyne* was issued, requiring all relevant departments to strengthen the control and management of these hazardous chemicals.
