National Bureau for Disease Control and Prevention

The National Administration of Disease Prevention and Control is a national bureau under the administration of the National Health Commission, operating at the vice-ministerial level. The Administration implements the guidelines, policies, and decision-making arrangements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China regarding disease prevention and control. In the process of fulfilling its duties, it upholds the Party’s centralized and unified leadership over disease prevention and control work. On May 13, 2021, the National Administration of Disease Prevention and Control was officially inaugurated at No. 14 Zhichun Road, Haidian District, Beijing.
