Hubei Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment

The Hubei Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment is a component department of the People's Government of Hubei Province, at the level of a full directorate, and is also known as the Provincial Nuclear Safety Bureau externally. The Hubei Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment implements the guidelines, policies, and decision-making arrangements of the Central Committee regarding ecological and environmental protection, and carries out the work requirements of the provincial committee. In the performance of its duties, it upholds and strengthens the centralized and unified leadership of the Party over ecological and environmental protection.
