Japanese Industrial Safety and Health Law / Japanese ISHL

This law sets forth general provisions for labor safety and health in Japan, occupational accident prevention plans, safety and health management systems, measures to prevent workers from hazards or health impairments, regulations on machinery and hazardous substances, employment measures for workers, health maintenance and promotion measures, permits, improvement measures related to workplace safety or health, supervision, and miscellaneous rules, applicable to labor safety and health management activities in all industries within Japan.
