Main Content：

This regulation provides guidelines under the Chemical Substance Control Law for activities related to the notification and submission of new chemical substances in Japan, including: Article 3, Paragraph 1: Notification required when planning to manufacture or import new chemical substances domestically. Article 7, Paragraph 1: Notification required when planning to manufacture new chemical substances abroad for export to Japan, or when planning to export new chemical substances. Article 5, Paragraph 1: Application for an exemption review of new chemical substances with a projected annual production or import volume of less than 10 tons (low-volume new chemical substances). Article 5, Paragraph 7: Application for ongoing review of low-volume new chemical substances.
