This document specifies the monomers of base materials listed in Table 1 of the “Positive List of Food Contact Materials, Containers, and Packaging” referred to in the “Partial Amendment to Japan’s Standards and Specifications for Foods, Food Additives, etc.” (Reiwa 6, September 27, Shōshoku-ki No. 224), provides information on potential monomers, and applies to activities related to the production, use, import, and other matters concerning food contact materials, containers, and packaging in Japan.
