Jordan announced that starting June 2025, it will enforce mandatory labeling for all chemicals and their mixtures in accordance with the eighth revised edition of the United Nations Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). This initiative aims to enhance the safety and transparency of chemicals and strengthen the coordination of international safety standards. The new regulation excludes radioactive substances, veterinary drugs, food, cosmetics, and medical devices.
