The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) initiated a public consultation on proposals for the harmonized classification and labelling (CLH) of five chemical substance. The CLH consultation lasts for 60 days (unless specified otherwise).

The objective of the CLH procedure executed by the ECHA is to guarantee uniformity and transparency in the hazard disclosure related to chemicals across Europe. This protocol encompasses the evaluation of chemical hazards, the formulation of classification and labeling proposals, and the facilitation of a public consultation phase. The procedure culminates in a meticulous review and the issuance of an opinion by ECHA’s Risk Assessment Committee (RAC).
