Mixing methanol with nitrocellulose forms a mixture of methanol and nitrocellulose. According to Article 5 of the "Implementation Guide for the Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals (2015) (Trial)", if the content of methanol and nitrocellulose in the product is greater than or equal to 70% (unless it is determined not to fall under the principles for identifying hazardous chemicals), it can be considered a hazardous chemical and managed as such. Therefore, selling methanol mixed with nitrocellulose after altering its form requires a work safety license.
