The China National Food Industry Association, commonly referred to as CNFIA, is a self-regulatory industry management organization for the national food industry. It was established on October 29, 1981, with the approval of the State Council. Its main functions and tasks can be summarized as: coordination, planning, integration, guidance, and service. Over the years, CNFIA has maintained close contact with food industry enterprises and has done a great deal of effective work in promoting the continuous, stable, and coordinated development of China's food industry.
