Hainan Market Supervision Administration

The Hainan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation is a newly established department as a result of the institutional reform plan in Hainan Province. The newly formed Hainan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation integrates the responsibilities of the former Hainan Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce, the Hainan Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, and the Hainan Provincial Food and Drug Administration. It also incorporates the price supervision and anti-monopoly enforcement responsibilities from the Provincial Price Bureau, as well as the anti-monopoly enforcement responsibilities regarding business concentration from the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce. The Provincial Food Safety Committee is retained, with its specific work undertaken by the Hainan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation.
