The Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, with Liu Xinsheng as the director, has the following functions in its office: - Handling daily administrative affairs; - Being responsible for policy research and the compilation of local chronicles; - Drafting and reviewing important documents and reports; - Managing secretarial work, document handling, duty shifts, supervision, archives, petitions, confidentiality, security, government information affairs, and the organization of regional-wide meetings; - Formulating and implementing internal rules and regulations of the bureau, and guiding the automation of office work in the bureau; - Being responsible for the organization and coordination of emergency management; - Undertaking the news release work of the bureau, managing and organizing publicity work, and handling the administrative management of the bureau's finance and assets; - Being responsible for foreign affairs related to the system.
