This code specifies the fire protection design of buildings, including factories and warehouses, Class A, B, C liquid and gas storage tanks (areas) and combustible material yards, civilian buildings, building structures, fire rescue facilities, fire protection facilities, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical systems, wooden structure buildings, and urban transport tunnels. It is applicable to the following new, expanded, or renovated buildings: 1.factories; 2.warehouses; 3. civilian buildings; 4.Class A, B, C liquid storage tanks (areas); 5.combustible and supporting gas storage tanks (areas); 6.combustible material yards; 7.urban transport tunnels. For the fire protection design of buildings such as civil air defense projects, petroleum and natural gas projects, petrochemical projects, and thermal power plants and substations, specialized national standards should be followed if available.
