Items and methods for safety technology inspection of motor vehicles

This standard specifies the inspection items, methods, and requirements for safety technology items of motor vehicles, as well as the determination, handling, and documentation of inspection results. It is applicable to institutions with the qualifications for inspection and testing of motor vehicles for safety technology, and also to institutions involved in the inspection and testing of imported motor vehicles for conducting safety technology inspections on vehicles entering the country. Motor vehicles approved for actual road tests and vehicles temporarily entering the country can refer to this standard for safety technology inspections. It is not applicable to safety technology inspections for tractors and tractor transport units that travel on roads.
