This standard specifies requirements for the inspection of transport packaging for dangerous goods batteries intended for import and export, including sampling, sample preparation, inspection and identification, and determination criteria. It is applicable to performance testing and use assessment of transport packaging containers for dangerous goods batteries with a volume not exceeding 450L, a net weight not exceeding 400kg, listed in the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods - Model Regulations, for various modes of transport.
