This part specifies the requirements for materials, design, safety accessories, instruments and loading/unloading accessories, manufacturing, testing methods, inspection rules, markings, and factory documents for atmospheric pressure metal tanks (hereinafter referred to as tanks) of road tankers for dangerous liquid goods transportation (hereinafter referred to as tankers). It is applicable to tanks that meet the following conditions: a) the medium is dangerous liquid goods; b) the working pressure during normal transportation is less than 0.1 MPa; c) made of metal materials and permanently connected to the chassis of a standardized automobile or the running gear of a tank semi-trailer. It is not applicable to tanks made of non-metal materials, vacuum insulation structures, or those with special requirements such as military equipment.
