This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of water-based acrylic resin coatings. It is applicable to single-component or two-component water-based coatings that use acrylic resin as the main film-forming material. These products are primarily used for the decoration and protection of metal surfaces and is not applicable to water-based coatings that use acrylic-polyurethane resin as the main film-forming material.
