Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has completed the update of the Domestic Substances List (DSL) in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA). The list has been upgraded to the latest version as of March 2025.
This update includes the addition, removal, or modification of certain substances to ensure compliance with current environmental and health assessment standards. The revised DSL will continue to serve as a key reference for chemical management in Canada. Substances not listed on the DSL remain subject to the New Substances Notification Regulations (NSNR) under applicable legislation.
